Check Out my New Nursery

Nice, huh? To tell you the truth I was kind of hoping for a racecar bed myself, but you do what you have to in order to get some sleep, know what I mean? Give me a ring some time (notice the phone by the bed). Just know it may have to ring a few thousand times - just enough for me to either roll over and pick it up or cry my head off until some one can pick me up and carry me to the phone.

Just Kidding

FOOLED YA! Actually, this is the most comfortable bed I've ever rested my bald head in. My folks stayed at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel in downtown Austin this past weekend while we were in town for my Grandma's birthday. What great kids my folks are, they made my grandma pay for a hotel on her birthday - good thing birthdays only come once a year (so I'm told - the concept of a year is a bit beyond my scope), they sound pretty expensive with kids like my parents...

I just told them they ate like birds, that's all

... and I was being sarcastic. These two, along with my Mommy, thought they were still in High School after wolfing down about three pounds of fajitas, queso, rice and beans from Mama Ninfa's. I guess a little compliment can go a long way; so, with that in mind: To all my female fans reading this blog today, you all look like you've lost some weight, have y'all been working out?

Gameday

Here we all are (Mom, Dad, Uncle Michael and my second cousin Jack) before the big game. Someone forget to tell Jack to get his Horns up (though I suspect Jack was rooting against Mack Brown because he kept telling me that Coach Brown was a mental midget compared to the likes of some guys named 'R.C. Slocum' and 'Wayne Fontes.') Well, if Jack knows so much about football, how come he lost both his bets to his little brothers Zach and Adam? By the way, someone forgot to tell the Longhorn football team to put their Horns up. Does Jack have the number for Coaches Slocum and Fontes . . .

I don't want to stop and smell the roses!

With all due respect to my great aunt Prissy, I was in no mood for life lessons. She kept telling me to sniff the flowers but I had other things to do, plus there was pollen, perhaps a bee, thorns - it was a nightmare. My first Thanksgiving, however, was incredible. Everything was so fun and the food (from what I could smell) was delicious (of all the delicious vegetables offered I got to have some Gerber's creamed peas). I also got to meet my first Cincinnati Bengal, and I have to admit I wasn't that impressed, I don't really see what my Dad and Mom see in that team. Based on one case, granted, they appear to be as big of losers off the field as on it.

Gettin' Cozy

Here's me and my great aunt Carla relaxing after another feast at the Massey compound in Sulphur Springs, TX. We're putting on a good face here, but moments after this picture was taken we both took a serious nap.
